Norwood Medical Strengthens Commercial Leadership with New VP of Sales & Marketing
Norwood Medical, one of the world’s leading providers of advanced, outsourced medical manufacturing services, today announced the appointment of Gregg Olson as the company’s new Vice President of Sales & Marketing.
Olson, a MedTech Contract Design & Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) commercial veteran, brings decades of experience to Norwood Medical. For over 20 years he has led high-performing business development teams in the medical device and medical technology sector. His responsibilities at Norwood will focus on new business development, including revenue growth strategies, sales team development, key account management and marketing.
Prior to joining Norwood Medical, Gregg was the Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Velocity MedTech, a specialized designer and manufacturer of surgical implants and custom sterilization systems for the orthopedic medical device segment. He previously held senior leadership positions in sales/business development at other medical device contract design and manufacturers, including Confluent Medical Technologies, TekniPlex, Vention Medical and Flex.
Commenting on Olson’s appointment, Norwood Medical CEO Jim Kircher noted that the company’s expertise and performance will benefit additional demanding MedTech OEM’s, driving the need to invest in and strengthen Norwood’s business development team. Norwood Medical has significantly expanded its Dayton facilities to support growing demand for manufacturing medical components and devices for minimally-invasive surgical procedures, robotic-assisted surgeries and orthopedics. The company’s 11th building, a 72,000 square-foot state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, has been constructed and will be operational in late spring, bringing the campus total to 700,000 square-feet.
